From 500 to 1,100+: scaling the team and the map
The group more than doubled its headcount in a year and extended delivery into new markets, while joining the CUBE enterprise-IT venture.
WE AS WEB more than doubled in size during 2025, growing from roughly 500 people at the start of the year to more than 1,100 professionals by year-end — a response to rising demand for complex programs where delivery speed has to be matched by deep technical and domain expertise.
The company’s geography widened in step. Alongside its Romanian base and delivery centers in Moldova and Albania, WE AS WEB operates in Germany, the UK, Austria, the Netherlands, and the United States, and has more recently opened up in Switzerland, Israel, and New Zealand.
A defining move of the year was joining CUBE — an entrepreneurial IT ecosystem built to take on large-scale enterprise programs that span multiple vendors and disciplines — extending the company’s ability to run complex, integrated engagements.
